Which way do you draw a circle? People around the world tend to draw circles counterclockwise, with the exception of Chinese-based writers

With Japanese, they write top-to-bottom-- does that influence things? What about people writing in Hebrew, that write right to left?
Also seems from the data that those that draw circles clockwise also start from the bottom of the circle, rather than the top.
And things seem reversed for triangles-- westerners draw them clockwise and often start from the lower left corner, while Japanese, Taiwanese draw them counterclockwise and mostly start from the top.
